Another cheaper, highly durable, attractive natural stone is porcelain. Porcelain offers a harder dense surface and moreover it is stain and damage resistant. This is the ideal option for high traffic and wet areas. When compared to other types, Porcelain stands Highest (five) in the PEI rating. Unglazed surfaces need sealant before and after grouting. Use glazed surfaces which are excellent for easy maintenance.
